ABOUT
Thinkra Studio runs two lines of work at once. One ships games. The other extracts the systems those games needed — locomotion, water, quests, building — and sells them to other Unreal Engine developers. Neither line is a side project for the other.
Every plugin in the catalogue was written because a project needed it. Advance Fluid and Advanced Swim came out of Deep Current. Thinkra Cooking is being built alongside Hearth & Skillet. Locomotion is the movement layer under Project Ascend.
That order matters. A tool built to be sold optimises for a feature list. A tool built to ship a game optimises for the frame budget and the deadline, and it is the second kind that survives a two-year project.
HOW WE WORK
Documentation is public and indexed. You can read every page before you spend anything. There is no docs paywall and there will not be one.
A beta plugin says beta, with the concrete risk written out. Anything unfinished says “coming soon” with a target, rather than being dressed up as shippable.
Several of our tools are internal and will never appear here. That is a decision, not an oversight — some things are too tied to our own pipeline to support for anyone else.
State counts, frame budgets, and platform matrices beat adjectives. If a claim has no number and no device attached, it should not be on the page.
COMMITMENTS
Nobody builds a two-year project on a black box. Source is included in Personal, Studio, and Enterprise alike — it is not a tier upsell, and no page here will ever suggest otherwise.
No renewal fee. The limit is written out plainly: it covers the product you bought, not future products, and when something stops being maintained you keep every build ever released.
We list on Fab as well, at the same price. What is exclusive here is bundles, multi-seat licences, and early access — never a lower number.
